These terms govern your use of this website and any enquiries, valuations or appointments you make through it. By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

These website terms cover advertising, enquiries and part-exchange valuations only. The contract for the sale of a vehicle is made separately, in person at the point of purchase, and is subject to the sale terms agreed between you and The Car Meet Ltd at that time. The price and vehicle information shown on this website are accurate at the time of publication, but the final sale price and specification are confirmed when the order is accepted by The Car Meet Ltd.

We take care to ensure that vehicle specifications, descriptions, mileage and prices shown on this website are accurate at the time of publication. However, vehicles are offered subject to availability and may be sold or reserved at any time.

All information is provided for general guidance only and does not constitute an offer to sell. Prices are in pounds sterling and are subject to change. We recommend contacting us to confirm vehicle availability and full specifications before travelling to view any vehicle.

Submitting an enquiry or viewing request through this website is an expression of interest only. It does not create a booking or a binding contract. Appointments and test drives are confirmed only once agreed with us directly by telephone or email. We may decline or cancel a booking where necessary.

Any valuation provided through the part-exchange facility is an indicative guide only, based on the information and photographs you provide. It is not a binding offer or a valuation under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. A final valuation will be confirmed following a physical inspection of the vehicle, which may include a test drive and an independent history check.

When you submit photographs you confirm that they are images of your own vehicle and that you are happy for us to use them to provide a valuation. If your vehicle has outstanding finance, it is your responsibility to settle that finance or to agree settlement directly with your finance provider before or as part of the part-exchange. Any settlement figure and how it is handled will be confirmed with you at the time of valuation, on a case-by-case basis.

This website is used to advertise vehicles and to take enquiries. In most cases vehicles are viewed and collected in person, and the distance-selling cancellation rights below do not apply.

Where a vehicle is sold at a distance — that is, you buy online or by telephone and the vehicle is delivered to you without you viewing it in person — the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you the right to cancel the contract within 14 days beginning with the day after you receive the vehicle. To cancel, please contact us using the details in section 13 below, stating that you wish to cancel. We will then arrange for the vehicle to be returned and refund you within 14 days of receiving the vehicle back.

This cancellation right does not apply to vehicles that are bespoke or made to your specification, or to a vehicle that has been used after delivery (other than to inspect it). Where the right to cancel applies, you are responsible for the cost of returning the vehicle, and we may make a deduction from your refund for any reduction in the value of the vehicle resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

When you submit a review you confirm that it reflects your own genuine opinion and experience, that it is truthful, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or contain defamatory, offensive or unlawful material. We may moderate reviews before publication and reserve the right to approve, decline, edit or remove any review at our discretion. We will not publish a review before it has been checked by an authorised member of staff.

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it, including by submitting false, misleading, defamatory or unlawful content, attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its systems, or using the enquiry forms to send spam or abusive material. We may block or remove content and suspend access where we consider these terms to have been breached.

The content of this website, including the The Car Meet Ltd name and logo, vehicle listings, photographs and page designs, is owned by or licensed to The Car Meet Ltd and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute our materials without our prior written permission, save as permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from use of this website, except where caused by our negligence or where such exclusion is not permitted under applicable law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The date shown above indicates when the terms were last revised.

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.

We aim to deal with all complaints fairly and promptly. Please contact us using the details below. If your complaint is about a vehicle sale, you may also be entitled to use the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme operated by The Motor Ombudsman where the dispute cannot be resolved directly with us.
